This small bowl is made in Puglia and is traditionally used in southern Italy for serving olives, sun-dried tomatoes, nuts or dips with drinks.
The speckled 'screziata' finish, with its irregular drops of glaze, first appeared in the 18th century on oil jars and recalls the country traditions of the South. Hard-wearing and easy to clean, it is ideal for the home and for eating outdoors.
