Black Carmencita Coffee Maker

The Carmencita coffee maker is an icon of Italian design, created in 1979 by Marco Zanuso for Lavazza.  

Its design recalls the 1960s and ’70s in Italy, when companies began creating simple, colorful, and functional objects for a new generation of Italians—more modern and style-conscious, yet eager to bring innovation and practicality into everyday life. The design of the Carmencita reflects the optimism and dynamism of that era, marked by a strong belief in the future and a desire for change.
